The “I Do” Swap
Swap Ends: 5/28/11
This swap is about saying “I Do” in different ways. You choose what theme you want to make a card, mini album, 12x12, and/or ATC for and you will receive whatever you chose back. (You will not receive your own creation back. You will receive a different creation from that theme.) The creation can be anything pertaining to an engagement, wedding, and anniversary.
Some examples … ring, wedding garments, hearts, lace, etc. Use your imagination and be as creative as you want. Your creation can be any theme … just needs to pertain to one the themes (engagement, wedding, or anniversary).
Now … the only catch … I have to keep the groups equal so that there is the same amount of creations for each theme. I will add more spots as needed, but will cut off a particular creation if it is filling faster than the others. However, I will add more spots if needed, as long as the groups end up equal. Are you all confused now? No worries … it will work out … the confusing part should just be for me … lol.

Monochromatic Card Details:
The dimensions are standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 size.
- Make 9+1 cards (+1 is for the hostess). You will be making a total of 5 cards and receiving 4 back. Here’s an example of a monochromatic: http://stampinwithladiva.blogspot.com/search/label/monochromatic
- You will be getting 4 cards back. You will not get one of your own back…so if you want one for yourself, make an extra and keep it.
- Please use good quality cardstock (like SU!, PTI, Gina K) & at least 2 layers. SU paper is 80# and PTI is 110#. The packs from Michael’s, JoAnn’s, etc are not this quality. It is perfectly acceptable to use them for the layering, but please don’t use something less than 80# for the base. Let me know if you have any questions. If your creations could benefit from embellishments, please use them, however they are not required.

ATC Details:
The dimensions of the cards must be 2.5 x 3.5 inches (64 x 89 mm).
- Make 9 +1 ATCs (+1 is for the hostess). You will be making a total of 10 cards and receiving 9 back.

12x12 Details:
1. You are sending in 3+1 (+1 for hostess) Don't forget to make a set for yourself to keep at home as you will not receive your own layouts back. Send 3+1, Single Page Layouts in 12 x 12 size.
2. Your layout must use at least 2 layers of paper. Please build your layout on heavy quality card stock.
3. Only 1 embellishment is required but please feel free to use more if you wish. Make your pages something you are proud of and would be happy to display in your own album or give to a friend as a special gift.
4. NVR, Stamping optional.
5. If you are a late swapper or flaker please do not sign up for this swap. There is plenty of time until they are due and I do not want to delay everyone else receiving their pages back. Those that are in (GIFT) spots will receive a little thank you from me, provided your pages are received on time.
Mailing:
1. Please include enough postage for me to mail your swap back to you. Plus an extra couple of stamps in a ziplock bag along with your YouTube, real name, and website/blog (if you have one). Some people's pages may weigh more than yours which can cause the shipping to be more. I WILL NOT return swaps that do not have enough return postage, so please include a few extra stamps - I will return all unused postage. No Metered Strips.
2. Please wrap your pages in plastic to keep them safe from water damage in the mail and include hard cardboard to protect from bending. Also write DO NOT BEND on your envelope. You can also use a box to ship your pages.
3. I will recycle your envelope but if you feel it's already beat up and will not make the round trip, please include an extra envelope.
Mini Album Details:
This swap is for a 6 x 6 mini album. Each participant will make 4 mini albums (3 + 1 for the hostess).
MINIMUM Album Requirements: 4 or more 6 x 6 pages fully embellished half pages are allowed, odd size pages and transparencies are allowed but do not count as the minimum pages.
If you choose to make your book out of paper bags instead of chipboard that is fine, but the pages must still be the same and the book must be bound somehow. They should be the larger lunch sack size which I believe is just under 6 inches but very close.
Fully bound with either rings or binding machine

Charms Details:
You will need to make 5 charms (4 + 1 for the hostess). If more want to join, please let me know and I will add you on. CUTOFF date will be 4/23/11. Please check back on 4/24/11 to see how many have joined the swap so that you can prepare for your awesome charm creations!
Charms should be made using white beads. Must include a clasp and at least one charm (anything that represents this swap’s theme)
Please ensure that the return postage equals what you sent out. For example, if it cost $2.50 to mail your swap to me, please make sure you include that amount in the envelop so you can receive your swap back or just do Priority Mail, which is the most convenient.
- NVR on any products.
- No envelopes needed.
- Sign up until 02/28/11.
Please be sure to sign the back of your cards (or adhere a post-it note with your name) so we know whose work to admire!!
Feel free to sign up for as many spots as you like, but please make a different card for each spot. I will add to the list as needed. No limit on the number of swappers.
If for some reason you cannot complete the swap, please PM me and let me know ASAP. I understand life happens and some things are beyond our control, but please be considerate of others in the swap. Because we need the same number of people in each season, I will need to find replacements or make the cards if you cannot complete … so the more notice I have, the better. (thanks)
Mailing Instructions:
PLEASE LABEL WHICH SWAP you are participating on the mailing envelop!!! Please send your cards in a plastic zip-lock bag to avoid water damage. Include your YouTube/real name, blog/web address (if you have one), and name of the swap on or in your bag/box. Include a SASE with the same amount of postage that it took to mail your cards to me. Please put your address in the address section and the return address section. Also include 2 postage stamps in case postage is more. (They will be returned to you if not used). NO metered stamps. I can't use metered stamps because they are only good for the day you purchased them.
**Please do not use metered postage on your return envelope. The post office will not accept them. **
Creations must be in my hands no later than May 28, 2011. Anything that comes in later than that may not be included in the swap. I will swap out cards and send to you within 7 days. If I receive them all early, I will swap them early.
